Welcome to Phoenix Brass

Phoenix Brass Band is a friendly 2nd section band based in Crewkerne, Somerset. We were founded back in 1995 with the ethos that banding should be fun, should not dominate your life yet we still take the music seriously. We are a contesting band and have enjoyed successes over the years since our foundation. For a little more history about the band, click here.

Latest News .... Looking forward

Happy New Year to everyone involved and supporting Phoenix. After a successful 2009, we have even bigger plans to make 2010 even more successful and more memorable than last year. 2010 is our 15th year since the band reformed so we have plans to record our first ever band CD, which should be completed in time for the summer.

Forthcoming Events - Torquay Contest, Sunday 14th March

March sounds like a long way away, but in reality there are not many weeks now until the contest will seem to be upon us. The Torquay contest is our biggest and most important contest of the band calendar as it counts towards our national band grading. We are all going to work hard to pull together to ensure we can maintain our run of good contest results.

2009 was a good year for the band, and we want to better that this year with a good result at the Torquay contest.
