Dave's Delight at Cheltenham

Congratulations to our MD Dave Hatton who had a very successful day playing for Bournemouth Concert Brass who came 2nd in the 1st Section National Finals in Cheltenham this weekend. Bournemouth were conducted by friend of the band, Captain Dave Barringer, who recently helped us prepare for the Exmouth entertainment contest.

The bands from the West of England were in fine form as the band that pipped Bournemouth to the title was the other representative from this area, Aldbourne, who were conducted by David Johnson. Congratulations must also go to John Winterflood and Brunel Brass from Swindon who won the 2nd Section. Other bands from the West of England included Sidmouth who came 6th in the 3rd section and Pendennis who came 5th in the 2nd section.

Congratulations to all the Daves, everyone at Bournemouth, Aldbourne and Brunel Brass.
