A Band Wedding

Yes, at 2 o'clock, Matt (Principal Cornet) and Lynda (Tenor Horn) were married at St Mary's Church, Beaminster. The service was conducted by the rector, Rev. Ken Masters and the music was provided by us (Phoenix Brass). Twenty minutes of music was provided before the service including, Light as Air - Richards, As Time Goes By - Hupfield, an excerpt from "Jesus Christ Superstar" - Lloyd Webber and Beauty and the Beast.

The bride entered the church to a movement from Handel's "Water Music". During the signing of the  registers, the band played The Irish Blessing and A Special Place - Goff Richards. The couple left the church to the triumphant sound of Mendelssohn's Wedding March. It was a shame about the rain, but the couple still looked very happy.
