Great Day at Dillington House

Phoenix Brass were invited to take part in the Dillington House Open day on Sunday afternoon, nr Ilminster. This was the first time that the band have performed at Dillington. Thankfully the weather held off, and a great afternoon was had by everyone in the band. During the afternoon Phoenix were asked to play 2 programmes of music on the croquet lawn to the rear of the house. The fantastic setting made for a great arena for the band to play, and many people stopped to listen as we played a varied selection of music.

The band were still very upbeat following the successes they had the day previous in Exmouth, and had the trophies out on display for everyone to see. The programme included most of the music that was played in Exmouth, which was well received by the audience.

Hopefully the day was a great success for Dillington, as the band is already looking forward to next years event.
